Overview

The Providence Day athletic program takes great pride in developing all of our student-athletes in grades 7-12. Participation in our athletic program provides our student-athletes with the opportunity to pursue excellence, build long-lasting relationships, and grow both physically and emotionally. We believe that our athletic teams are an extension of our classrooms.Through quality training and teaching, our student-athletes develop life-long skills that will assist them with any future endeavor. Our coaches are fully committed to educating our student-athletes on the importance of personal integrity and team work.

Our athletic program supports 66 teams in 27 varsity sports and competes annually in over 950 athletic events.  Historically, over 80% of our student body participates in one or more of our sport teams. Honors for our student-athletes include national, state, and local recognition.

At the conclusion of the 2024-2025  school year, 28 seniors committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at some of the most prestigious universities around the country.
